All my hardwood rustic jewelry boxes and keepsake boxes are handcrafted in the USA using time tested joinery techniques to ensure that your jewelry box or keepsake box will be around for generations to come. Hello, and Welcome to The Little Box Shop™ All the offerings on this site are crafted by me in my small 415 square foot shop in southeastern Minnesota.
My rustic jewelry boxes and keepsake boxes consist of a mix of mostly domestic hardwoods. After selecting my hardwood from local vendors, the lumber is brought back to my shop where it acclimates and is eventually machined and dimensioned for projects. Finishing consists of several coats of a mixture of fine tung oil and polyurethane.
My pieces are crafted with time tested joinery techniques. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and has its own celebratory characteristics. I strive to incorporate a very high standard of quality and craftsmanship in every wooden piece I create.
